Let the children play

Constance van Niekerk in South Africa

Why can’t children be allowed  to be just children. My heart bleeds for every child who has been forced to prematurely travel the journey of adulthood. Our leaders do not help matters when they lower the age of sexual consent to 11 and 12 years old. Have our leaders become some kind of perverts, legalising sexual abuse? We are indeed a lost generation. Read
The Emancipation of Rumbi a short story I wrote and entered in the #BIAAGZIM  bloggers competition yesterday a few hours before the deadline of 8pm.

Let us take a stand against child marriages and ridiculous laws that legalise gross and repulsive child abuse.

Let the children be children. Let the children play.
