Sunday the 8th of March is International Women’s Day (#IWD2020). This year the theme is #EachForEqual. I’m not sure if the theme is saying that all women are equal or women and men are equal. My personal opinion does not matter, but as a Christian, I believe For more on #IWD2020, do take a turn to their site.

What do you have planned for IWD2020? I know some poets in Zambia are having a ‘poetic’ Friday celebrating women. If you’re anywhere nearby, they would be delighted to see you.

Send us an email and let us know what you have planned for this IWD. info.afriquebeat@gmail.com
That reads to me that we all have equal rights, period.

No, I don’t think so, because we are biologically different, so not equal. After all, I’m not gonna have kids anytime soon 🙂. I think equal rights is about as good as we can get. Science has been able to turn inequatities into equalities, e.g. abortion, contraception, but there’s still the big one of childbirth. That’s what I think, anyways. You?
