This week’s Afrique Beat Man Crush Monday is one of Vaal’s finest, Thabo Nhlapo. Thabo was born in Evaton in the Vaal. From 2014 – 2018, he sat on the board of Bokamoso Skills and Development Centre (NGO). There, he played a critical role in the establishment of the biggest centres of excellency in the province.
Mr Nhlapo boasts of over 16 years of experience in the finance industry. He has worked in various banks which include Standard Bank (Financial Planner), ABSA (Centre Manager) and NedBank. He is the former chairperson of Micro Market Forum, Founder and MD of B & T Benz Chap.
Thabo has recently completed his class of Business with Milpark Business School and is currently studying towards becoming an internationally certified banker at Retail Banking Academy (RBA) of London. He is a part-time radio presenter at Vaal’s community radio station, Sedibeng FM 104.8MHz where he presents The Romantic Valley every Sunday from 3 – 6pm.
