Simphiwe Gift Malinga known to his myriad of fans as Phiwe aka Abuti Bae. He is a young vibrant radio host. He has the energy and capability to do any show on radio. He developed the love of media, especially radio while he was in primary school. He listened to radio and mimicked what the host did, even adding his own spices.

In 2013 Phiwe went to Sedibeng Tvet College where he studied Electrical Construction. In 2019, he studied radio production. In 2015 he got his breakthrough into radio as a producer, later on he was a Co-host. Then he, joined a local station in the Vaal where got his own show. He got a position as Technical Producer for 10 Months, he also did shows like Afternoon Drive, Breakfast and Evening shows.

Simphiwe is a Motivational Speaker he is passionate about youth. He does most of his motivational talks at schools. He is an MC and every event he does is hot. He is an actor as well, he has done stage plays in 2009. He has also been a featured actor in a local television soapie, Rhythm City and other local movies.

Phiwe is a Christian, well mannered and a people’s person. Phiwe is not a celebrity but, a servant of the community. He is passionate about changing the mindset, attitude and the life of every youth to be better.

Abuti Bae is currently a producer and host of Iketsetse Morning Drive on Lekoa FM 91.0 every weekdays from 7am till 10am
